There are no setup fees. Licence and billing help, documentation, recorded tutorials and applicable software and statutory-pack updates during the licence term are included. Setup, activation, updates and support may still need an internet connection.

Support allowance rules
Assisted time is recorded in 15-minute increments. Unused hours expire at the end of each quarter, including during an annual term. Additional assistance is $75.00 per hour, agreed before work starts. Licence administration, billing help and product-defect investigation sit outside the assisted allowance.

Training is optional. There is no mandatory onboarding purchase, and training does not automatically renew with a licence.
Common questions
A few practical details
How is employee capacity counted?
Each employee counts once per organisation in a calendar month when they are active for payroll or included in a completed payroll. Multiple pay runs for the same employee in one organisation do not multiply the count. Historical or inactive employees with no payroll activity that month do not use current capacity. If a person works for two separate organisations, they count once in each.
What if our employee count is between the listed capacities?
Below 100 employees, the estimate uses the next published capacity. Above 100, capacity is available in 25-employee increments and the price is interpolated between the listed anchors. For example, $350.00 early-bird or $375.00 regular per quarter covers 125 employees on an employer licence. More than 2,500 employees requires a custom quotation.
How does consultant pricing work?
One consultant or bureau licence covers an unlimited number of client organisations, with a shared employee allowance across the practice. The employee total is pooled across those organisations and the subscription is paid once by the subscribing practice. Contact us to discuss deployment and operator access.
How long does early-bird pricing last?
Your early-bird rate applies for the first 12 months from paid activation: four quarterly terms or one annual term. After that first year, regular rates apply at renewal, with advance notice. Capacity increases do not restart that period.
What happens when our capacity changes?
Upgrades are charged pro rata for the remaining paid term and retain your renewal date. Downgrades take effect at renewal when usage fits the lower capacity.
Does annual payment reduce support fees?
Annual payment reduces the licence amount by 15% compared with four quarterly licence payments. Support is charged at four times its quarterly price, with the same assisted hours available each quarter.
Do I need to buy support or training?
No. Every licence includes the core payroll product and there are no setup fees. Support and training are optional services; neither is required to activate or use the licence.
How is training charged?
Paydae Essentials is $60.00 per attendee for a 2-hour online class of up to 8. The Team / Practice Workshop is $240.00 for 2 private sessions of 90 minutes each, for up to 6 operators. Training is a one-time charge and does not renew automatically.
